Eaten chocolate for the first time in weeks, and feel really sick from it :-(
Also entered the Race for Life on June 11th. Only 5km but would feel better if got fitter/lost some weight first.
Everything feels a bit out of control at the moment, maybe my health should be my priority….
Been off the Paleo wagon for a few months due to partner being in hospital and general stresses. Now life is more normal again have noticed weight creeping up - not good.
Was going to wait til New Year but read something on here that reminded me that would be a waste of a month I could have done something with.
So back to the mainly Paleo healthy eating with the aim of getting from 148 to 133 lbs. Not setting a time limit, slow and steady wins the race :-)
After a weeks holiday and a week of eating like a pig it’s time to try again before my waistbands get any tighter :-)
Only me to feed all week so should be easier and cheaper to get back into Paleo.
59 days until my Bday so that is my timescale to hopefully lose 14 pounds and get to my UGW…..
Nothing is “Impossible” the word itself says, ” I’m Possible
Last night ate too many biscuits and a pack of crisps. Felt awful, not just mentally but physically :-( Stomach ache and bloating, and really bad nights sleep.
Think this proves after a couple of months without wheat that it really doesn’t agree with me.
So learn from mistakes and move on.
25 days til my holiday and need to fit back into my last summer clothes.
Back on the paleo plan for me :-)
Well it’s been a tough one this week. Ran out of money until payday (10th) and the cupboards were looking a bit bare. But I did it. Used some shopping vouchers for vegetables and fruit and then wrote detailed lists of possible meal combos from the things I did have in. Survived a week of Paleo on very little ingredients, plenty of tins of tuna and broccoli.
Thanks to lovely boyfriend now have some money to tide me over the next week, and he also noticed I had lost weight :-)
Achievements this week : down to 137lbs, feeling healthier, and fitted into a pair of trousers I haven’t worn since I was 21 ( a while ago believe me) - they will look even better when last 7lbs are gone but I feel like I can do that now.
Current motivation - holiday in 6 weeks time, friends band playing for last time on the day I get back and I want to look good for that so will keep me focused on my hols.
This week will still be tough as finishing a course at work on Wednesday with a 3 hours assessment/ observation. In the past this would have driven me to stress eating but not now!!
Hope the week goes well for the rest of you xx
Sausages, asparagus, broccoli, cauliflower, leeks and tomatoes.
Leeks go great with sausages, and new discovery I am becoming addicted to asparagus :-)
So am down to 141 lbs :-) That’s 1 lb from my first target, and 8 from my original UGW…
Also 2 inches from bust, 2 from waist, 1 from hips, and 2 from each thigh!
Best parts so far : no afternoon energy slump, skin clearer, stomach flatter and stomach aches gone.
Worst parts : increased food bill (need to find a good local market), problems finding grass fed or even free range meat, need to be more organised with breakfasts (don’t like eggs which appear to be the quickest option)
All in all will keep plodding along :-) It’s worth it.
Good luck fellow healthy eaters.
